With today’s launch of its new mobile phone application, available free of charge at the App Store, the MEI is taking the next step in disseminating its content online.

This new tool provides the general public with fast and easy access to the content generated by the MEI. In addition to our Quebec Debt Clock, users can consult our publications, press releases, opinion pieces, blog posts, and media interviews.
“The mobile app has become an indispensable communication tool in this day and age,” says Jasmin Guénette, Vice President of the MEI. “We are already very present on the Web, with Facebook, Twitter, and our Internet site. Mobile MEI represents an additional platform that will allow us to reach a wider audience and enjoy greater visibility.”
Mobile MEI will be updated in real time with our most recent commentaries and media appearances related to current events and topics of public interest.
Our objective is to pursue our work of providing economic education through short, accessible publications, and the mobile app is a good fit in this context. The MEI invites everyone to download our new app in order to better understand the impact of public policies on taxpayers in Quebec and all across Canada.
“At the moment, there are many societal debates going on, with many issues front and centre, which is why it is so important for the Institute’s voice to be heard on as many platforms as possible,” concludes Michel Kelly-Gagnon, President and CEO of the MEI.
